International Seminar-Type Online Workshop on
Topological Solitons
questionnaire(¥¢¥ó¥±¡¼¥È)
We would appreciate your cooperation!
- Scope:
The aim of this workshop is to review the development of topological solitons and to explore new directions with both young and senior researchers. (For graduate students, this is designed as a school of topological solitons. There is a good
textbook.) We are also considering deepening communications between Asian and European/American researchers. We would like to encourage young people all over the world to give a talk at the parallel sessions.
- Date: August 30¡Á September 29, 2023 (Totally seven days)
-
Place¡§Zoom platform (Parallel session is held in the breakout room.)
:
Zoom link will be shown here 2 hours before the start of the first talk. (In the case that this workshop HP is dead, it will be displayed at
the researchseminars org
.)

- Parallel sessions will be held on three or four days among the days of the plenary talks. Each session on one day consists of several parallel talks by applied people. Each speaker has two one-hour periods and will be expected to be able to have (25+5)min talks maximally four times (so that audiences can enjoy four 30min parallel talks per a day). Speakers can use this assigned periods as they like, for example, 30min talk-->listening to other talks-->(15min break)-->30min talk-->listening to other talks. There are no chairpersons.
- The time schdule is irregular on September 27. The parallel session is prepared during 11:00-13:15 (JST) on this day.
- For people on the east coast of the United States, we might add an additional slot during 21:15--23:30 (JST) on one day. If there is a request, please make a comment in the registration page for the parallel talks (below).

Parallel talk application has been closed.
If you are still interested in it, please email to an organizer.
Remarks
- Plerany talk is 60 minites + discussion, but could be flexibly extended.
- Audiences can have a question at any time by unmuting their mic or by writting a chat message.
- Plenary talks will be recorded and uploaded to Youtube. If you don't want to make your question to be public, please send an email to organizer (See below). Then the relevant part of the video will be trimmed.
- Talk slides will be uploaded in this homepage if the speakers agree.
