Travel Information
Conference take place at Sakata–Hirata Hall (Science South Building) at Nagoya University, Higashiyama Campus. The subway station “Nagoya Daigaku” (Daigaku means University) is the closet station to Higashiyama Campus, Nagoya University, and Sakata–Hirata Hall is within a 5-minute walk from the station. The opening reception on Sunday evening will be held at Restaurant Universal Club.

From Sakae Area to Nagoya University
From the Subway Sakae Station, first take the Subway Higashiyama Line to the Motoyama Station (station number H16). Then, transfer to the Subway Meijo Line (clockwise direction) and get off the Nagoya Daigaku Station (M18). It takes about 20 minutes (during peak hours), and costs 230 JPY. In the daytime, subways come in every 5 minutes for the Higashiyama Line, and in every 10 minutes for the Meijo Line.
Note that, on the Higashiyama Line, one car is designated as a “women-only car” during the morning and evening peak periods on weekdays.
Nagoya is located in a place between Tokyo and Kyoto, 360km west of Tokyo. In order to get to Nagoya from overseas, you can fly either to Tokyo, Osaka, or directly to Nagoya.
