Career Opportunities for Bachelor’s at the Department of Mathematics
The majority of those with a Bachelor’s degree work at high schools, the financial sector and IT companies.
Around 50% of our graduates go on to pursue higher degrees, and this number, lower than the average for science majors, is expected to increase.
The financial sector is comprised of banks and insurance companies.
One attractive career path in the financial sector is to become an actuary, and there is an active alumni community of actuaries.
