要 旨 | I’ll discuss applications of a certain family of ortogonal functions to representation-theoretic questions. The orthogonal functions are versions of Jack polynomials which, instead of being complex valued, take values in an irreducible representation of a complex reflection group. Combinatorial formulas for the usual statistics (norms, eigenvalues, etc...) associated to orthogonal polynomials turn out to give information about homological and representation-theoretic properties of rational Cherednik algebras and their spherical subalgebras. Time permitting, we’ll also discuss an application to the classification of unitary representations of the Cherednik algebra. | |||
