要　　　旨	A symplectic reflection algebra is a certain non-commutative deformation of the ring of functions on the quotient of a symplectic vector space by a finite symplectic group of transformations. In this expository talk, we’ll explain what symplectic reflection algebras are, paying special attention to the case of rational Cherednik algebras, and discuss some of the open problems in the area.
