Title: Introduction to Open String Field Theory

Abstract:
I will follow the recent review paper, arXiv:2405.19421, to introduce the geometric construction of different string field theories. Aspects of world-sheet conformal field theory, geometry of moduli space, Batalin-Vilkovisky formalism and homotopy algebras will be introduced. After the generalities of string field theory, I will introduce three explicit constructions of open string field theory: Witten's bosonic action, Erler, Konopka and Sachs' tree level superstring action and Berkovits' action in large Hilbert space.
