Yes. If the undergraduate school or department from which you graduated was certified for granting mathematics teacher credentials, the credits you obtained at the undergraduate level can be applied toward a teaching license. You can obtain a specialized teaching license by completing the remaining required credits during your time in the Mater’s Progrm. For more information, please read the pertinent section of the Student Handbook and contact the School of Science Educational Affairs Section. If the undergraduate school or department from which you graduated was not certified for granting teacher licenses, you will have to pursue your license from square one, which will require considerable preparation on your part.
