Geometry and Physics of the Landau-Ginzburg Model

(Please see

for details)

Two-dimensional (2,2) supersymmetric Landau-Ginzburg model
has been an important model in the study of supersymmetric
quantum field theory and superstring theory. More recently,
a great deal of mathematical progress is being made in various aspects
such as mirror symmetry, the Landau-Ginzburg/Calabi-Yau
correspondence, gauged LG models, higher genus A and B-model,
and connections to integrable hierarchies. This workshop will
bring together many of the key players and will provide a place to
interchange ideas and learn about the most important advances.
The daily schedule will include a small number of presentations
and plenty of time for informal discussions.

Dates: June 25 (Mon) - June 29 (Fri), 2012
Place: Lecture Hall, Kavli IPMU, the University of Tokyo

Speakers:
   Mohammed Abouzaid (MIT)
   Andrea Brini (Imperial College)
