Title: K3 surfaces with involution and Borcherds products

Date: May 8, 2009, 13:30-15:00

Place: Seminar Room at IPMU Prefab. B

Abstract:

Using equivariant analytic torsion, we introduced an invariant
of K3 surfaces with involution. In this talk, we focus on the
structure of the invariant as a function on the moduli space.
As a result, the invariant is expressed as the product of
an explicit Borcherds product and Igusa's Siegel modular form.
If time permits, we explain the relation between the BCOV
invariant of certain Calabi-Yau threefolds and our invariant.
