Title: On Harvey's curve complex
Abstract: We discuss an important graph in low-dimensional
topology called the "curve graph" of a surface, the 1-skeleton
of the curve complex, after Bill Harvey. We give some idea of
its importance, and some of its theory, mentioning the work of
Ivanov, Masur-Minsky and Bowditch among others.
