Abstract:
Recently, a unified picture for describing integrable systems has been established by Costello, Witten and Yamazaki.
Then, a systematic method to give 2D integrable sigma models from the 4D Chern-Simons(CS) theory has been developed by Delduc, Lacroix, Magro and Vicedo [1909.13824]. However, this method is only applicable to few models such as PCM and WZW models.
In this talk, I will explain how a symmetric coset sigma model including the Green-Schwarz action of AdS5xS5 superstring can be reproduced from the 4D CS theory by generalizing their procedure. This talk is based on works (2003.07309, 2005.04950) with Osamu Fukushima and Kentaroh Yoshida in Kyoto University.
