All 2.0 programs should be able to run with 2.2 without problems. In debian unstable we had 2.2 package well before the 2.2 gnome was ready, and it ran without much problem. I think 2.0 lacked some maturity in many points, and everyone should be upgrading to 2.2 quicly, at least that seems to be the intention of the gtk developpment team. Also there will be no further developpment, bugfix or whatever fro gtk 2.0. All the work will be going into gtk 2.2, so i question the wisdom of keeping 2.0 installed, which may in the future contain untended security issues or whatever. So, my vote would strongly be to release lablgtk2 for gtk+ 2.2. It makes no sense anyway to release beta bindings for a version who is one year old. Friendly, Sven Luther
