MagicPoint is intended for a substitute of MS PowerPoint. It runs on X-Windows and capable to run X client program on the slide, integrated with the TeX system, and available free. I don't know how widely accepted this software is but there are some enthusiastic users in Japan where the software is born and maintained. Further information is given in http://www.Mew.org/mgp/. Though I personally have never used magicpoint, I think it is interesting to develop a lablgtk tutorial that is integrated with the lablgtk interpreter: you can see the document, program, and also interact with the lablgtk application.
