LablGtk2 certainly works on macosx, both with the macport and fink ports of gtk2. Note however that you first need to add the fink binary path to your path. This is usually done automatically, but you may have skipped that step. If you believe that everything is correct, then you must send me config.log, to see exactly what went wrong (better not to send it to the list, this is a big file.) There are several possible points of failure: 1) couldn't find pkg-config at all (path problem) 2) couldn't find gtk2's package configuration files (something missing?) 3) found everything but the linked binary doesn't run (problem of dynamic linker path) ...
